The Christmas Run pool in Wooster used Shelter-Rite® Style 8028 with a Tedlar top finish to create a small, poolside awning.
Based on ODOT requirements, Legacy selected a PVC Architectural Fabric manufactured by Seaman Corporation to complete the structure.
Designed for fast, efficient erection, the lightweight canopies are both durable and nearly maintenance-free.
During the day, the fabric allows soft lighting to be transmitted into the building, primarily a basketball facility that will seat some 7,000 fans.
The strength of the Shelter Rite structures was put to the test in 2012, when they withstood all of the fury of Hurricane Sandy.
