Project Story
This 95,000-square-foot air-supported multi-sport facility was designed to deliver a premium indoor athletic experience throughout the year. The structure is home to a regulation-size synthetic turf field (70 × 115 yards), accommodates a full-field play, and can be subdivided for multiple simultaneous games or practices. With an 82-foot peak, it easily hosts competitive events, training sessions, and community programs throughout the year without interruption from the weather.
Arizon Building Systems partnered with the facility owners early in the development process, beginning in 2019, a full year before land was secured. During preconstruction, multiple design revisions were made to address budget constraints and evolving code requirements. These included the addition of several double egress doors at the front of the dome to enhance access and safety. The final facility was delivered in partnership with Claris Construction, Inc., the project’s lead architect.
The owners envisioned a reliable, versatile indoor sports complex that could support uninterrupted year-round programming for games, practices, and community events. The structure needed to be both high-performance and cost-effective while maintaining long-term durability.
