Beijing Tennis Center Relies on Shelter-Rite Architectural Fabrics to Protect Courts and Stand Up to Extreme Atmospheric Pollution

As tennis becomes increasingly popular in China, the demand for tennis courts that can be used year-round continues to surge. However, building hard shell tennis enclosures is often cost prohibitive, resulting in many tennis courts being left uncovered.

Sun Park Tennis Center in Beijing, China, relied on Shelter-Rite Architectural Fabrics experts to find a solution that would enclose six outdoor tennis courts and remain clean for decades in extreme pollution. As a result, 4,000 square meters of self-cleaning fabric was installed to provide an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-maintain, year-round sporting venue.

Since then, two additional structures have been constructed using the same Shelter-Rite architectural fabric with PVF.
