Rental tents and tent hall structures come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Small pole and frame tents are available in sizes starting at 10 feet by 10 feet, while tent hall structures can be produced in sizes of 200 feet by 700 feet.

The one thing that all of these buildings have in common is that they are temporary structures that can be erected quickly. Rental tents are used to provide shelters for special events such as parties and weddings. Tent halls, referred to as clear span structures, are used for larger gatherings such as hospitality tents for sporting events and exposition halls for trade shows.

The primary requirement for an architectural fabric for rental tents and tent halls is a lightweight durable material that can withstand multiple installations every year. Additional requirements include a material that can be cleaned to "like new" appearance after each use.
